SAP Data Analyst

Engagement Type:
Contract – 12 Months – Data Analyst (Data Cleansing & SAP Exposure) 

Description:
We are seeking a Data Analyst to support data cleansing and preparation activities on an SAP transformation. This role is ideal for someone with strong data handling skills and prior exposure to SAP systems. You will work as part of a collaborative team responsible for ensuring clean, accurate, and well-structured data is migrated from legacy systems into SAP. This is a great opportunity to gain further experience in a large-scale ERP transformation project.

Minimum Years Experience:
3–5 years in data analysis or data quality roles, with some exposure to SAP or other ERP systems

5 Key Skills Required:

1. Good understanding of data cleansing techniques and data quality principles

2. Proficient in Excel and experience with tools such as Power Query, SQL, or Alteryx

3. Exposure to SAP master data (customers, vendors, materials) or similar ERP data

4. Ability to interpret data issues and propose practical solutions

5. Strong attention to detail and communication skills

5 Areas of Responsibility:

1. Assist with reviewing and cleansing legacy data across key business domains

2. Prepare data for migration to SAP, ensuring compliance with formatting standards

3. Support mapping exercises and track cleansing progress across datasets

4. Collaborate with functional teams to resolve data quality issues

5. Help validate migrated data to ensure accuracy and completeness
