SAP Data Migration

Engagement Type: SAP Data Migration Consultant – SAP S/4 HANA Greenfield Implementation.

Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP Data Migration Consultant to join our team for an exciting 6-month contract role. As part of a greenfield SAP S/4 HANA implementation project for a UK-based customer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful migration of data from legacy systems to the new SAP S/4 HANA platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP data migration methodologies, possess excellent technical and analytical skills, and be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless migration process.

Minimum Years Experience: 5 Years.

5 Key Skills Required:

– Collaborate with business stakeholders and project teams to understand data migration requirements and objectives for the SAP S/4 HANA implementation project.
– Assess the existing data landscape, identify data quality issues, and create data mapping and transformation strategies to ensure data integrity during migration.
– Develop and execute data migration plans, including data extraction, cleansing, and validation, to migrate data from legacy systems to SAP S/4 HANA.
– Implement best practices and follow industry standards for SAP data migration to ensure the accuracy and completeness of migrated data.
– Work closely with technical teams to define data extraction and transformation rules using SAP Data Services (SAP DS) or other relevant ETL tools.

5 Areas of Responsibility:
– Proven experience as an SAP Data Migration Consultant with hands-on involvement in at least one full lifecycle SAP S/4 HANA implementation project.
– Solid understanding of SAP data migration tools and methodologies, including SAP Data Services (SAP DS) or other ETL tools.
– In-depth knowledge of SAP data structures, data objects, and data models.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify data issues and propose effective solutions.
– Proficiency in data mapping, data transformation, and data validation processes, familiarity with data migration best practices, data quality management, and data governance.
